WATCH: Waterspout Turned Tornado Recorded on Lake Travis

AUSTIN, Texas — A viewer sent Spectrum News a shocking video of a tornado developing over Lake Travis during Sunday's storms.

Burton Fitzsimmons spoke with Matt Comer about his experience. A waterspout appeared to move from water to land, becoming a tornado as it reached Point Venture.

Comer says the twister came from the west, down Bee Creek into the wider finger of that part of the lake, followed the south shore, then into the main part of the lake and over to Point Venture and Lakeway.
