SAN ANTONIO -- Bexar County's BiblioTech is expanding its technology footprint to the East Side.

The nation's first all-digital public library will open another location in the East Meadows public housing community.

The branch will be open to everyone in the East Side community. Biblio-Tech offers free digital downloads, GED testings, robotics classes, children's programming, and technology classes.

"I'm excited about this because I know that it will add to the community and not only that, but it will encourage the people of the community," said east side neighbor Mary Emerson.

Former home to Wheatley Courts, BiblioTech East will be the second branch located in a public housing development in San Antonio. The project is expected to be finished by this August, just in time for school.
