New Church Sculpture Draws Double Takes
Central Presbyterian Church has permanently installed a bronze sculpture of a man sleeping on a park bench. Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz created the sculpture titled “Homeless Jesus.” The congregation hopes the statue reminds people that every human being is sacred. 06:50 PM
