Austin A federal judge could decide Monday whether to block the start of Austin's new housing ordinance. The ordinance would prohibit landlords from denying people a lease based on their source of income—which means landlords would be required to accept housing vouchers as a source of payment if the tenant meets all other move-in requirements. 10:07 AM
A traveling display about the Holocaust and genocide of World War II came to the state Capitol Monday. It includes a plaque shaped like the Star of David, which bears the handprints of Holocaust survivor Leon Horn and his family. During Monday's ceremony, Horn shared his story of surviving concentration camps like Auschwitz, even as his entire family was killed.

Gun Rights Group Pushes for Open Carry at Capitol
