Clouds will gradually increase tonight with early lows from 25 to 30. Temperatures will begin rising overnight as warm front approaches the region. Rain will also develop very late tonight with some snow, sleet and freezing rain in the mix, especially across the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier and perhaps Wayne County. These areas will be a bit slick for the Friday morning commute so please use caution. Widespread precipitation will move out Friday morning giving way to a windy and mild afternoon with highs in the 50s!
Low pressure will remain in play through the weekend with occasional showers both days. Neither day, however, looks all that wet. Highs will be cooler for Saturday then milder again for Sunday.
Occasional rain is also expected for Monday and Tuesday with highs both days perhaps in the 60s. Cooler highs are then expected for Wednesday and Thursday with high pressure keeping things mainly dry and pleasant.
