Patchy light snow and localized freezing drizzle will continue tonight though becoming less widespread as the night progresses. Temperatures will hold steady around 30. Any remaining light snow and freezing drizzle will end early Wednesday. Otherwise, Wednesday will be pleasant and mainly dry with milder highs in the low to mid 40s.
The next frontal system will arrive Wednesday night with a few scattered rain showers. Scattered rain showers will then give way to scattered wet snow and rain showers for Thursday. This activity looks steadier southwest and east of Rochester.
Seasonably cold air returns Friday and it look like it will stick around for close to two weeks. Flurries and areas of steadier lake snow are expected for Friday and both days this weekend. These bands will shift around at times, but it looks like the steadiest snow will be southwest and east of Rochester.
