Rochester Andre McFarlane, 36, was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison on second-degree murder charges. He was originally charged with first-degree murder but accepted a plea deal just before the trial in exchange for testimony against co-defendant Steve Fulcott. Updated 12:30 PM
Two former volunteer firefighters are credited with helping their neighbor get out of his burning home safely Thursday night. The Webster Fire Department is not yet sure what started the fire that destroyed one house and damaged another. One of the victims is a volunteer from the Webster Fire Department.
