Rochester Andre McFarlane, 36, was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison on second-degree murder charges. He was originally charged with first-degree murder but accepted a plea deal just before the trial in exchange for testimony against co-defendant Steve Fulcott. Updated 10:50 AM
The Webster fire chief says the fire started in the back of a home on Mohawk Street around 10 p.m. He says a neighbor saw the fire while looking out of the window and called 911 while her husband ran over to get the man out.
