Some Issues Still Undecided as Legislative Session Concludes
SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: State lawmakers remained at the Capitol well past their normal business day in order to tackle some last minute bills during the last scheduled session day of the year. The legislative session ended on Wednesday with Senate Republicans announcing they were adjourning for the rest of the year. The final day of the session did not see an agreement on mayoral control, but the Senate did confirm a new chairman of the MTA, Joe Lhota, who Governor Andrew Cuomo nominated late Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, lawmakers introduced a bill that would rename the Tappan Zee Bridge after the governor's late father, Mario Cuomo. Nick Reisman is at the Capitol with the latest.
