The settlement agreement between the village of Hoosick Falls and local manufacturers over PFOA contamination is not enough, according to some residents.

Hoosick Falls Mayor David Borge says the $850,000 agreement -- which will be accepted or rejected Thursday by the village board -- includes the cost to detect the water contamination, plus the cost to prevent contamination in the future. Money is also included to compensate the engineering, legal and communications consultants that helped.
