Kingston artists find love at the Lace Mill
SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Dawn and Michael Bisio live at the RUPCO-owned affordable housing complex -- the Lace Mill. Not only did the building give them an opportunity to have a nice place to live at an affordable price, it also helped them to find love.
Dawn and Michael have a number of shows coming up. You can catch Dawn’s show “Dirty Laundry” featuring her work as well as from three other artists; Chelsea Culpepper, Daniel Cardenas, and Aaron Lockhart from August 5 through August 19. The opening will be on August 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Lace Mill East Gallery and Mezzanine; and Michael will play the bass there.
Michael has a jazz concert on Sunday, August 13, at 4 p.m. also in the Lace Mill East Gallery. He will be playing a set with, Joe McPhee, Kirk Knuffke, Adam Siegel and Tani Tabbal.
