Woman Stabbed Near State Street in Troy, Recovers After Surgery
TROY, N.Y. -- Troy police say a woman is recovering after she was stabbed in the area of the Frear Alley near State Street Thursday night around 11 p.m.
Police say there were reports of a woman moaning in the street, and when they arrived three people were trying to help her.
They're still looking for a suspect.
"There was no suspect around at that time we're trying to work on the suspect. We haven't been able to have a good interview with the victim, she was rushed to Albany med by the Troy Fire Department," said Dan DeWolf, with Troy police.
Police are looking at video from the area to look for a possible suspect. Anyone with information is also asked to call Troy police.
