Disability Advocates Make Case for Not Approving Aid in Dying
This week, disability rights advocates rallied as the state Court of Appeals heard arguments in an aid-in-dying case. Members of the grassroots campaign "Not Dead Yet" say doctor assisted suicide violates the Americans with Disabilities Act, and call aid in dying a deadly form of discrimination. Anita Cameron joins me now from Rochester to explain the group's position. She is the Director of Minority Outreach for Not Dead Yet.
