Push to Override Medicaid Therapy Visit Cap
New York's attempt to reduce Medicaid costs lead to a 20-visit cap on physical, occupational or speech therapy. But advocates at the capitol for Legislative Disability Awareness Day are pushing for a change that would let doctors override the cap. They argue that it's arbitrary and limits patients ability to recover from illness or injury.
