The High Cost of Manufacturing Operations in NY

We often talk on this show about how business-friendly the state is, at least that's what the Cuomo administration claims. But a new annual report that looks into the cost of manufacturing in the 48 contiguous states begs to differ, ranking New York as the second most expensive for operating, with New Jersey coming in first. There are a number of factors the report looks at, from taxes to labor. Joining us to talk more about the report's findings is John Boyd, principal of The Boyd Company.
