Helping the Homeless Find Affordable Homes

Much of the discussion over homelessness has centered around what New York City officials are doing. But some lawmakers have also been working on state-level action, including a rental-assistance program to close the gap between existing subsidies and the typical rent for an apartment. And now that's getting some traction in the budget process. Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi joins us  to explain more behind the bill.
