Health Care Providers Concerned About Minimum Wage Increase

Health care providers are raising concerns about the increase in the minimum wage set to take effect in January. The state allocated extra funds to cover the pay raises, but the money went to Medicaid managed care plans. Now, the New York State Association of Health Care Providers says the insurers are not passing that along to home care agencies, causing some agencies are worried about their budgets. The association's vice president for public policy, Laura Haight, discusses the issue.
