$15 Minimum Wage Could Take Services Away from Developmentally Disabled

At Wednesday's mental hygiene budget hearing, NYSARC Inc. called for an increase in Medicaid funding if the minimum wage goes up again. Without that increase, the group warned lawmakers that non-profits helping people with developmental disabilities could end up bankrupt. And that is not NYSARC's only concern.
