Special 'Heroin Enforcement Teams' To NYS? Schumer Pushes For It

SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer (D) is asking the Drug Enforcement Agency to send one of four soon-to-be created Heroin Enforcement Teams to New York State to combat the epidemic. Teams will deploy to four areas across the country determined to be hot beds, or places where opiates are coming in, being distributed and used. Their role is to work with local law enforcement to curb the trafficking into these regions.
