Another warm day

Wednesday brought us a few showers and thunderstorms along with unseasonably warm temperatures.  We can expect more of the same today.

Look for partly cloudy skies today with widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.  Although we should be a degree or two cooler than Wednesday, it will still be warm for this time of the year.

In the tropics, Jose is forecast to make a loop off the coast of the northeastern United States.  Maria is moving away from the Dominican Republic and should stay east of the Bahamas, and well east of the North Carolina Coast.
