Not too bad for late July...

Our weather really should be pretty nice for late July over the next couple of days.  Sure, it will be very warm and feel a bit hot in the afternoons.  However, today's highs in the upper 80s is just a little below average for this time of year.  The heat index will be in the low 90s this afternoon compared to over 110 several days ago.

Tomorrow's weather should be pretty similar to today with highs in the upper 80s to near 90.

Our next chance for rain should come Friday as a front moves into the state.  Look for showers and storms around central North Carolina from Friday afternoon through Friday night.  Some of the storms could be strong with heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and powerful wind gusts.
