Warming Up Today; Only a Few Isolated Storms Possible

We should not see much rain across most of central North Carolina today.  Only a few isolated storms are expected around mid to late afternoon.  Otherwise, look for a mix of clouds and sunshine for most of the day.  We should be a little warmer than yesterday with highs in the upper 80s.

Tomorrow's weather looks pretty similar.  We'll see partly sunny conditions with just a few isolated storms.  Highs will top out in the upper 80s to near 90 in the Triangle.  The low 90s are expected in the Sandhills.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy will pass just north of us from Friday night into Saturday morning as the system moves from Kentucky and Tennessee to northern Virginia.  That means much of our weekend should end up dry, but we still expect scattered storms Saturday afternoon and evening.
