Capital Tonight June 23: Raise the Age in North Carolina
On Capital Tonight: North Carolina is on the verge of raising the age for juvenile offenders. Right now, 16- and 17-year-olds are automatically prosecuted as adults for any crime. This proposal would raise the age for certain crimes. With legislation proposed and the policy debated, the proposal was added to the compromise budget sitting on Gov.
