RuffTail Runners helps exercise shelter dogs

If you're looking to get some extra exercise while also giving back, RuffTail Runners might be perfect for you.

The group trains volunteers to take the dogs at Austin Pets Alive! out for exercise. Once volunteers have completed a short training class, they can run the dogs any day of the week.

RuffTail Runners founder Rob Hill said the program has been incredibly beneficial. Not only are the dogs more adoptable when they get exercise, but they also learn better behaviors as the runners inevitably help train them.
