Genesee Land Trust Dedicates Preserve
The property located off of Ridge Road in Webster will now be called the Eva and Harlan Braman Preserve.
It's a place for bird watching. There's about 60 acres of previously farmed fields and 11 acres of woods. A brother and sister donated the land in honor of their grandparents.
"I was approached by Laurel Bruns whose family had owned this land for several generations," said Gay Mills, Executive Director for Genesee Land Trust. "And she just wanted to see that this piece of Webster history would stay open and available to the public."
Genesee Land Trust has more than 4,100 acres of land. Trails at the Eva and Harlan Preserve are now open to the public.
